First Come First Serve

I guess I really just need a place to vent. A place to share my thoughts and maybe get some feedback to see if other people out there are thinking similar thoughts about every day occurrences that are out of our control. I selected the name for my blog because I am a thoughtful person; word by word, I took "considerable" as a synonym to meaningful and "speculation" as a synonym to thoughts. Meaningful Thoughts would have been a little to common for my tastes so I took my search for a title to the thesaurus.
Anyway, an example of what you might find here is in order because I really haven't told you anything about my meaningful thoughts that might prod you to return tomorrow for new speculation.
Last night, my female companion and I were out to dinner at the local mainstream "Chinese Bistro" and were pleasantly greeted by four police cars with as many officers talking to a couple of gentlemen outside of the restaurant. I later discovered that one of the men was the general manager but that is really besides the point because the only information that I could gather while waiting over an hour for my table was that an altercation occurred in the bar area where tables and booths are on a first come first serve basis. At this point my mind began racing and I pictured two men bickering over who got to the table first to determine who would get to sit down at the empty table.
I finally realized why I was so intrigued by this interaction between the law and the common man, why was it necessary to send four police cars and at least four officers to take care of this simple situation. I couldn't help but think that they should have something better to do on Friday evening then make a scene in front of a restaurant.
